Payment and spending limits
Paying in
There's no limit to how much you can pay in to your Chase current account. Most payments will arrive in your account almost immediately, but can take up to 2 hours.
Paying out
There's a daily limit to how much you can transfer out of your Chase account to another UK bank account – this is £25,000.
You can ask to temporarily increase your daily transfer limit (up to a maximum of £200,000) by getting in touch with us in the app:
- Tap the 'Profile' icon on Home
- Tap 'Limits'
- Tap 'Ask us to change your transfer limits'
Once we approve your transfer limit increase, it can take up to 4 hours to see it in the app. The limit increase expires at midnight on the day we approve it, so you'll need to make your payment before then.
You can ask us to increase your transfer limit up to 2 days in advance. But keep in mind that you can only have one limit request open at a time.
We can only action transfer limit requests from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Any requests sent after 2pm may be actioned the following day, so please allow enough time if you need to make a payment.
If you need to transfer over £200k
Please get in touch with our support team. We won't increase your daily transfer limit, but a member of our team can help you make the payment.
Withdrawing cash
You can withdraw up to £500 a day from cash machines (both in the UK and abroad). If you're travelling abroad, there's also a £1,500 limit on cash withdrawals from your Chase current account in any calendar month.
CHAPS
We don't currently support CHAPS.
