Leaving Chase

To leave Chase, you'll need to close any other accounts you have with us, so you only have one current account left open. This includes:

  • any other current accounts
  • any saver accounts
  • your round-up account if you have one

Make sure you transfer any money left in your rewards balance before you leave – otherwise this money will be lost.

Once you've closed all your other accounts, head to the Chase app and follow these steps:

  1. Tap the 'Profile' icon in the 'Home' tab
  2. Tap 'Settings'
  3. Tap 'Leave Chase'
Please keep in mind that currently, you can't come back and bank with us if you leave. And please don't do this if you're in the middle of switching to another bank, as this will cancel your switch

Once you leave, you can still see and download all your statements for up to 6 years from your Chase app – just head to ‘Profile’ then ‘Statements’.

If you no longer have access to your Chase app, you can give us a call on 0800 376 3333 (or +44 203 493 0829 if you're abroad). We're here to help you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
