Chase credit card disputes

While we're in the early stages of releasing our credit card out into the world, we'll be making our eligibility checks available in the app over the coming months – so keep your eyes peeled.

How do I dispute a credit card transaction?

If you'd like to dispute a transaction, please get in touch via 'Support' in the app. Just so you know, you'll probably need to provide evidence for your dispute. While we're looking into it, please keep making repayments as normal.

My transaction failed but I've been charged on my credit card. What should I do?

First up: if a transaction fails but you've still been charged, please make sure the transaction's cleared and not in 'pending'. If it's cleared, you can contact the service provider or retailer to ask for a refund. If you'd like to dispute the transaction with us, you can also get in touch with us via 'Support' in the app.

What's Section 75?

Different to a dispute (or chargeback), Section 75 is a legal right. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act makes it possible for credit card companies (like Chase) to refund a card holder (like you) for eligible transactions when there's an issue with the item, service or the service provider. For more details on Section 75 and what is or isn't covered, please read our dedicated Section 75 FAQ.
