Wembley Stadium Experience Chase Prize Draw (“Draw”) Terms and Conditions

By entering this Draw, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.   

The promoter 

Chase is J.P. Morgan Europe Limited trading as Chase of 25 Bank Street, Canary Wharf, London, E14 5JP, United Kingdom (“Chase”).

1) How to enter & who can enter?

  • The Draw is open to new and existing customers of Chase.
  • The Draw opens at 00:01 BST on 7th October 2024 and closes at 23:59 GMT on 7th November 2024.  
  • To enter the Draw you will need to be a Chase customer with an open and working Chase Current Account.
  • Between 7th October 2024 and 7th November 2024, you will need to: 
    • visit the Rewards section within the Chase app and follow the instructions to opt into the Draw, and then
    • receive a single deposit of £1,500 into your Chase Current Account. This must be a lump sum which is received into your Chase Current Account, for example, your salary or a payment from an account you hold with another bank.

You will receive one entry into the Draw for each £1500 that’s deposited into your Current Account in one go. This means for larger deposits, you'll be granted one entry for each £1500 of the total amount that's paid into you Current Account. For example, a payment of £3,000 into your Current Account will create two entries into the Draw whereas a payment of £2,000 will only create one entry into the Draw.

  • You must opt into the Draw in the Chase app, as described above, to be eligible to enter the Draw. Deposits made to your Chase Current Account without opting in to the Draw will not count towards an entry. 
  • Internal transfers between Chase accounts belonging to the same customer are excluded. Each single deposit of £1,500 you pay in to a Chase Current Account between 7th October 2024 and 7th November 2024 will create a new entry, but you can only receive a maximum of 5 entries to the Draw in total. You can see the number of entries you have made within the rewards section of the Chase app.  
  • You must remain a customer of Chase with a Chase Current Account when we draw the winners.
  • The Chase General Account Terms and Conditions apply, including eligibility, account limits and maximum account balances. You will need to meet and comply with these terms and conditions in order to enter this Draw. There is a maximum combined number of accounts a customer can hold and/or have opened with us.

Who cannot enter this Draw?

  • You cannot enter this Draw if you are:  
    • an employee of Chase;
    • an employee of an affiliate of Chase, who works for JP Morgan’s International Consumer Banking line of business; 
    • a contractor, secondee or contingent worker of Chase or an affiliate of Chase who provides services to JP Morgan’s International Consumer Banking line of business; 
    • an employee, contractor, secondee or contingent worker of agents or suppliers of Chase  who are professionally connected with the Draw or its administration.  
  • You will also not be able to enter the Draw if your Chase Current Account is suspended or under investigation. If you are unsure of the status of any of your Chase Current Accounts, please contact us using the information provided at the end of these terms and conditions. 
  • By entering the Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. Chase may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Draw.  
  • All entries received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.   
  • Chase will not accept responsibility if your entry is incomplete or delayed, for example, as a result of any hardware or software failure or technical malfunction. Also, proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt of an entry into the Draw.  
  • Chase will not accept entries that are incomplete or by any other method.
  • Chase may disqualify you if you breach any of these terms and conditions or act dishonestly in relation to this Draw.

2) What are the prizes?

  • The first prize is an opportunity to play football on the pitch at Wembley Stadium, London on 8th December 2024. One other guest will be able to also join you on the pitch and you will be able to bring two spectators to watch too. There will also be an appearance from renowned football stars who will join you on the pitch (“First Prize”). Other first prize winners of this Draw will also play on the pitch at the same time.
    • The guest playing on the pitch must be 18+. Spectators must be 2+. Spectators under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a non-playing adult (18+). Strictly NO under 2s will be permitted access into Wembley Stadium under any circumstances.
    • The prize winners, their guests and spectators must comply with the instructions provided by or on behalf of Chase and the Wembley Stadium team.
    • The prize winners and guests who will participate on the play on pitch experience will be required to wear appropriate clothing. 
  • The runner up prize is 2 tickets for a Wembley Stadium Tour (the winner and 1 guest) (“Runner Up Prize”). 

Below refers to both the First Prize and Runner Up Prize, each as a “Prize” and together the “Prizes”.

How many prizes are available?

  • There will be 20 First Prizes and 20 Runner Up Prizes available to be won.  
  • There is a limit of 1 Prize per winner.

Other information about the Prizes

  • Prize winners must be in attendance at the play on pitch experience or Wembley Stadium Tour, as applicable. No spectators are allowed on the pitch.
  • Chase or its agent will inform winners of the required arrival times and instructions for the match. The winners and their guest/s must comply with these timings and instructions in order to take up the Prize.
  • All Prizes exclude travel, transfers, accommodation, car parking charges, personal expenses or spending money, or any other costs or arrangements not included in the description of the Prizes set out above. Prize winner will not be entitled to any reimbursement of travel accommodation, subsistence or any other costs associated with attending the match. All such costs shall be the sole responsibility of the winners. The Runner Up Prize will also exclude food or drinks.  
  • Chase is unable to control the appearance of the football personality, therefore, if they are unable to attend for reasons outside of Chase’s control, Chase will try to make alternative arrangements for the First Prize winner to meet a football personality. This may be at a later date and different location.
  • Prize dates are subject to cancellation by Wembley Stadium. Chase will use best endeavours to reschedule in the event of a cancellation. If the date on which a prize is scheduled to take place is cancelled, we will work with prize winners and parties involved in delivering the prize to arrange an alternative date when the experience can take place or provide a suitable alternative prize to any winners impacted.
  • The use of tickets and entry to Wembley Stadium is subject to the Wembley Stadium ‘Conditions of Issue’ which can be found here: https://www.wembleystadium.com/Public/Conditions-of-Issue (Opens in new window) and any other terms and conditions referenced on the ticket, the conditions of entry and the prohibited and restricted items and actions, as applicable.  The winners are responsible for complying with (and ensuring their guest complies with) those terms and conditions. Any issues in relation to entry and any complaints or claims relating to the winners and their guests' attendance at the match should be dealt with between the winners/their guests and the relevant venue, except where there is an issue with the tickets supplied to the winners by Chase. 
  • There is no cash alternative to the Prizes and winners are not entitled to demand the Prize be paid in cash. Chase reserves the right to substitute a Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. 
  • Prizes are not negotiable, exchangeable or transferable by the winner. Prizes must not be auctioned, resold or advertised for sale. In the event Chase becomes aware that any Prize has been auctioned, resold or advertised for sale, Chase reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the individual. 

3) Winners

  • All valid entries will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a Prize. Winners will be chosen at random within 7 days of the closing date. The first 20 winners to be drawn will win the First Prize. The  following 20 winners drawn will receive the Runner Up Prize. 
  • We will also notify winners within 7 days of the closing date by contacting the winners using the email address and/or telephone number they have saved on their Chase account. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contact information provided to Chase is up to date.  
  • In order to claim the Prize, the winner must respond to Chase’s message by accepting the Prize and providing any information requested by Chase, within 5 days of being notified.   
  • Chase will make all reasonable efforts to contact prize winners. If any prize winner fails to claim a Prize, they will forfeit the Prize and Chase may redraw a new winner. Chase will contact any replacement winner/s as soon as possible after the redraw and they will have 5 days to respond to the notification by accepting the Prize and providing any information requested by Chase.  
  • Winners and their guests will be screened by the Football Association before the Prize is confirmed and winners and their guests must not be on any “stadium exclusion list” in order to take up a Prize.
  • The decision of Chase is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

4) Receiving the prize

  • Winners of the First Prize will receive instructions and information for the play on pitch experience at Wembley at least 5 days before. Winners of the Runner Up Prize will receive e-tickets which will be redeemable for 12 months from 1 December 2024.
  • The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the winner’s behalf.  
  • Chase does not accept any responsibility if winners are not able to take up the prize.

5) DISCLAIMER: Participating in the experience

  • The play on pitch experience at Wembley Stadium is physically challenging and carries with it risks that we cannot entirely eliminate. These include the risk of personal injury. You should take care when participating and by participating, First Prize winners and their guests confirm:
    • they must act responsibly and sensibly at all times;
    • they are fully aware of and accept the associated risks which include injury, damage to or loss of personal property; 
    • they will comply with all instructions given to them by any representative of Wembley Stadium or Chase and use any equipment as directed and not so as to hurt or injure themselves or others;
    • they are sufficiently fit and healthy to safely participate and do not suffer from any medical condition which would adversely affect thier ability to safely participate; and
    • they have not had recent surgery;
    • they do not have heart issues/high blood pressure, neck or back problems, dizziness, fainting, seizures, motion sickness, epilepsy and/or any other health conditions that may be aggravated by this activity; and
    • they are not pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
  • In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, participation in this activity is entirely at your risk and we are not responsible for any theft, damage, destruction or loss of your property or belongings while at the experience.
  • First Prize winners, guests and their spectators (where applicable) are required by Wembley and Chase to fill out a disclaimer on arrival. If they do not sign one of these they will not be able to take part. Please contact us via the method explained in section 8 below if you would like to see a copy of any disclaimers in advance of participating in this Draw.

6) Limitation of liability

Where it is allowed by law,  Chase, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Chase, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

7) Data protection

  • Chase must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Chase will send the first name and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails prize.draw@chase.com within one month after the closing date of the Draw.   
  • If you object to your first name, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Chase by emailing prize.draw@chase.com. In such circumstances, Chase must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  • Chase will only process your personal information as set out in the Chase Privacy Policy available here: www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/legal/privacy-notice/ (Opens in new window) and in accordance with these terms and conditions.  
  • Chase may use their agency, Fuse International Limited to assist with the administration, fulfilment and/or delivery of this Draw and/or the Prizes. 8) Publicity

  • Journalists from various UK media outlets may be present at Wembley Stadium.
  • Chase or its representatives may take photographs and video footage at the play on pitch experience at Wembley Stadium. By attending, prize winners, their guests and spectators enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur and consent to photography, audio, and video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used in advertising and press in any media. Prize winners, their guests and spectators also waive all rights to any claims for payment of royalties and any right to approve any photograph, video footage or audio recording.
  • Prize winners and their guests may also be requested to participate in reasonable publicity activities, including but not limited to interviews, photography, audio and video recording which prominently or solely features the prize winners and their guests. Participation is not mandatory. If prize winners and/or their guests participate, they agree to the above and to the use of their name, likeness, photograph, voice, and any statement made for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. In addition. Prize winners and their guests may also be required to provide their approval to participate by signing the appropriate form provided by Chase. 

9) General

  • Chase reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Draw, without prior notice.  
  • This Draw, these terms and conditions and any related disputes shall be governed by English law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
